OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, the company behind ChatGPT said a tour of capital cities had left him ‘quite optimistic’ about prospects for global coordination on artificial intelligence in Tokyo on June 12, 2023. Altman also addressed AI’s employment impact as regulators look to create new guidelines to govern the use of generative AI.
