I'm a supervisor in a produce warehouse....yall dont even know how many full sized dumpsters of PERFECTLY SAFE food we HAVE to fill every month. We're NOT ALLOWED to donate it. We're NOT ALLOWED to give it to our employees. If anyone is seen taking any (before it gets thrown away, obviously), they're fired. If i let someone take food, I'm fired.

Imagine all the produce in your local 1/4 of that and throw it away every day. Shit is criminal, and we can't do anything about it.
