I live a few miles from DIA...
There are WAY TOO MANY anomalies surrounding all aspects of this place, for it to be just theory. An actual conspiracy seems more likely to be the case. I have a friend who set scaffolding 7 levels down, during the initial construction, back in the 90's. No construction crews were allowed to do work in one area, longer than 2 or 3 weeks, whether the project was completed or not. After that they were either moved to an entirely different location to work on a project another company had been previously working on or basically fired. I remember several guys that worked there, back in the day, talking about "how strange" they thought that was...
