I’ve lost count of the number of game changing and cost saving tips I’ve had from Peter’s channel. Meticulous and practical.

The putty knife tip is genius. Will have to remember that one.

i had several sets of turned legs to sand, so i bodged up a drill powered lathe jig of sorts, and it worked fine, spent 20 mins making it and it saved me a few hours sanding, plus i kept it for future use.

Ha! Didn't know you could get a rechargeable reciprocating saw. Even as a DIY bodger, the number of times that one of those would have been a life saver. The sanding blade tip is brilliant.
Thanks Peter.

This is the simplest thing that changed my life. Now I can use my standard 5” for hand sanding!

Fantastic ideas there, esp the filler knife and electric saw variation. I have our garden furniture to do and have put it off for 3 years due to anxiety about how to do the grooves quickly. Thanks very much for that tip.

Was just looking online a couple of hours ago for the circular sanding pad from your video, to de-nib the edges of some painted mdf, when this popped up - perfect timing. Another vid full of properly useful advice. See you at Makers Central.

At work, we use Mira foam backed abrasives, which are excellent. Also festool are doing the same thing now 👌🏼

Some great tips there, not sure why I can't think of them when struggling, need to purchase some double sided sticky tape, I like the reciprocating saw idea, the putty knife, the block with sand part trimmed is great as I typically find I roll the edges, stupid me how simple! Many thanks for your videos Peter!

Hi Peter. I enjoyed your video about sanding and learnt a couple of new tricks. I particularly like the work around for sanding narrow slats. I have lots of used fine tooth steel reciprocating blades gathering dust in a drawer, so now I will make up a variety of grits for when I have to re varnish the garden a really super tip. Can I ask where you got your long grey dust hose from. Is it Festool and is it anti static, or not and how long is it? I want to do something similar in my workshop instead of the 27mm ts-55 hose trailing on the floor, which often gets in my way when working on the mft!

I was just going to ask in a previous video what the sanding disc with the wooden knob was thinking it was something expensive, to find out its the velcro pad from a sander, and after all the ones i discarded, great idea though thanks.
