We have been cutting down all our Ash Trees due to the Ash bore bug that is killing them. I'm going to use a chainsaw mill to saw them into boards. Then I'm going to build some bedroom furniture with the boards. I'm liking your videos and getting some good tips for my future projects. Thank you!

I actually like the sanding stage of a project, because the next step of oil or stain is when it comes to life! Sanding gives you a chance to eliminate imperfections, too!

I have several projects in the pipeline - I took apart an old china hutch and I am refitting the bottom to be a tv cabinet for the living room, and the top as a linen cabinet in the bedroom. I'm also working on turning a leftover length of walnut butcher block countertop to a new table top for a treadle sewing machine bottom. There's about 10 more ufo's in the shed too :-)
