It is not hard to get some light in your scene and put some sun where it doesn't usually shine.
Rim Lights, Key Lights and Fill Lights are absolutely necessary when lighting a model or scene and in this tutorial we will skim the very basics of lighting, getting you to where you can light your creations just that much better!

Some videos on light I have found useful in the past:

I didn't think much about lighting until I watched a filmmaking tutorial where they showed how different a shot could look with just the lighting changed, and how good lighting goes a much longer way in making an image look professional than a good camera. I then got obsessed with how I light my scenes, both live action and 3D – you can tell so much of the story with your lighting choices alone.

What happened to the intro Iridesium. One of the best intro's ever, and you didn't use it. Can you do a video on like the car on the street look in the video (very nice shot). Did you use low level zmist or volumetric scattering. The camera and focus point, to get the soft edges on the car . How to get the headlights to look more realistic . Yours headlights look okay in the vid with the glow, But nobody makes a vid and breaks down, where it's hard to tell cgi or real (headlights). And that's what we are trying to get. I'm sure you didn't go crazy to get low render times for the vid. Everything in the shot looks amazing to me, but the headlights are just a bit off from looking 100% real life. Something I've struggled with In my renders, and not worried about render times. My headlights always look fake to me after everything. Even with glow and streaks added, looks okay but you can tell just by them. Could you make a vid to get most realistic headlight look with any car, please.

Not only Rim/Key/Fill is the most basic technique. But this showcase of it is pretty mediocre.
