Man I was so confused and know it confirms my confusion.
I thought it was in degrees, 1-5. Mines a zanussi

You may also want to put a scotchtape over it, it moves so easily you can turn the freezer higher or lower without even realizing.

I have a dial 0 -6 and also a sliding vertical mechanism that goes from min to normal to max. I don't know why i have two temp controls.. Both are placed in the top fridge park. Does min = low temp ?
