Regardless of the manufacturer, where is crack has appeared 'curved' over one cooking zone on a ceramic electric hob, this means the 'thermal breaker' underneath has failed to stop the heat building too high. This will require a visit from a Technician - contact your manufacturer for advice.

This does not include impact damage or installation issues and will not occur on an induction hob.
