I remember when the hype for super Saiyan 3 was and oh my god I remember just rushing home after school trying to watch dragon Ball z to see Goku's transformation and oh my god it didn't disappoint

Pay attention to Goku’s voice in each of his respective transformations. The Super Saiyan transformations are fueled by rage, and you can hear that as he transforms. His base and SSJ voices sound basically the same because he mastered that form training for his fight with Cell. But once he goes SSJ2, you start to hear that rage seep back into his voice, implying he hasn’t fully mastered it yet. And as a SSJ3, it gets far more noticeable because, as he says, he hasn’t had much occasion to practice it. Love the little details like that
