Reaching Ascended Saiyan or Super Saiyan 2 was so tough to achieve because whenever they tried it, it wasn't a perfect transformation but a imperfect one with huge muscles slowing them down.
Don't forget how much time Goku and Vegeta spent in Hyperbolic Time Chamber just to reach it.

Making a joke of that transformation and letting these girls achieve it within minutes just because they feel tingling behind their back was the worst thing that happened in the Dragonball series as a whole.

They do a good job reenacting the type of power Goku has to release to even become SSJ3 its very similar to the first time and he lets out a scream that would just send chills down the spines of his enemies, again just like the first time :)

Fun fact: When goku fought beerus in ssj3, Beerus was gonna attack goku but his INSTINCTS saved him.
