For those who don’t know the “weird lamp story” was a creepypasta that I think was fake but it was about a 13 year old Reddit post describing how there was some guy who got knocked out by a football player accidentally or something and in general he was out for a few short minutes but this post was describing how he experienced 10 years of life inside of his brain while he was knocked out, he lived a life where he had a wife, kids, a dream job, the American dream. But one day he was sitting on his couch and he saw that one of the lamps on his house. He starred at it for 3 days with his wife being worried throughout the whole scenario. To him, it just, looked weird. He couldn’t stop starring no matter how much he tried and his wife tried to get a professional to talk to him, but nothing happened. After days he finally reached what he called “the epiphany” that the past 10 years of his life was just a dream and like that, he woke up back to the real world as a police officer was walking him to his car. The Reddit post said he suffered 3 years of hard depression after that. According to the Reddit post, he said it didn’t feel like a dream, but an existence.
