This is my comparison video for the HTC Vive and PlayStation VR (PSVR). Each one has strengths and weaknesses and I go over them in this video.

U cant judge comfort based on ur elite headphone thing, u either have to judge them as stock or buy the psvr elite headphones thing and test it, as for eveything else i agree, except for lack of immersion, i have my camera set up like 3 feet higher then me and i moved my bed and i have huge space which makes me able to bend, pick stuff from the floor, move around, n all that, also i got those little hooks that almost makes it feel like wires arent a thing.

Don’t forget that a ps4 is like $300 where a computer which is required to run the vive can be up to $750 or more. My $500 computer says it’s not good enough when you test your pc on the vive website

I love my PSVR. Great video though, I always appreciate other opinions. I saw you got trashed on by some of the PSVR community lol. Don’t take it to heart, people are pretty vindictive. I don’t agree with you of course, but I respect your opinion. Hopefully PSVR gets new move controllers eventually, otherwise I’m pretty happy with mine.

I have PSVR and If you have the camera up on a wall pointing at and angle so the room is in view, you can, in fact, bend down, jump and walk around the room ect. So its not just a stand there and play device..

Very fair comparison, I'd give comfort to the PSVR with the Bionik Mantis headphones and games is a tough call for me because if some amazing PSVR exclusives, but all in all great video!

I think there is a tie in prices, because Steam have a good variety of games but every game costs more than 100$.And ps store have just eleven pages of games and the max price is 60$.There is just seven games that have this price.The medium price is 30$ for each game you buy.

"For longer play sessions and sit down games, I would go with the PSVR" A great game for you to try then would be "Bound". It's 3rd person and you can switch between a fixed Resident Evil style camera and follow cam like your typical 3rd person action game. (Prince of Persia, for example)

"For the PSVR you're just standing there..." this statement is so wrong; the PSVR has a tracking range of approx. 2x 2 m; when I play SuperHot or Rec Room I'm moving around. The tracking range however could be bigger, but the main issue is that the move controllers are not tracked (and start to drift) when you have your hands behind you (relative to the PS Cam). The headset itself is 360° tracked. In SuperHot (Pazzo Pizza level) I even crouched under the (virtual) table...

Aside from tracking, I personally like the PSVR controllers much better.
But the main reason I went from PSVR to Vive is because of the horrid tracking on the PSVR

If I had a strong enough PC i would of gotten the HTC after working extra shifts to buy it but I don't and plus the PSVR is cheaper and still fun with the old tech move controllers. I've set up my camera up high so I can sit on the floor or jump up whiles reaching for something in game. The only thing I dislike about the PSVR is the lack of 360 due to one camera and when you turn your body blocks the controllers, if Sony introduce a way to add a second camera I am sure they can mimic the 360 feel.

Sprint Vector pretty fun and I stand up, move and play on my PSVR.
