Truck Stance | The More You Know

Показать описание
Have you ever wondered how to get that nasty wide stance on your truck? What is offset, and how does it affect how my wheels are going to fit? Luckily, Fuller is here to give you the full rundown on truck stance and how to get the exact setup you want with confidence.
What is Truck Stance?
Simply put, truck stance is the term used when adding wider wheels and tires to your truck to make them stick outside of the fenders.
Lift Kit or Leveling Kit
At a minimum, you’re going to want to install a leveling kit to provide additional space within your wheel wells to slap those new beefy treads. If you’re looking to go a bit more aggressive, you will likely need to spring (pun intended) for a larger lift kit, like a full 8” BDS Coilover Lift Kit or a Rough Country Lift Kit.
Offset
Now that you’ve created space within the wheel well you’ve opened up more options for wheels. Offset refers to the mounting surface of the wheel in relation to the center of the wheel. Positive offset results in your wheel sinking into the wheel well while negative helps push your wheel outward.
