Uff that final imagery of the creatures of the sea, a combination of classical and modern depictions of sea creatures

This content is transformative. I read a book on this that changed my outlook. "Stars Aligned" by Olivia Whitestone

People are afraid of aliens because stories tell us that the first thing they do is cut us open. We think that's horrible and monstrous, yet when watching this animation, I think we can all agree that the curiosity of humanity would lead us to do exactly the same.

I always thought a nautical theme suited necromancers, and here is an example why

The patient has a great design for a monster, he reminds me of Hastur And the Outsider a story by lovecraft

Ive never been so captured by a narrated story before - am normally a visual person but this does an exquisite job at keeping you hooked from start to finish

Trypophobia, check. Necrophobia, check. Xenophobia, check. Existential dread, check. I call horror bingo!

Ngl I don't know what good they expected to achieve when trying to open the mask of something clearly not human

This cosmic horror-inspired video was a captivating descent into the abyss of the unknown. The eerie visuals and haunting atmosphere transported me to a realm where reality itself seemed to unravel. A true homage to H.P. Lovecraft's cosmic dread!

My first thought when the prisoners back was revealed was: “I quess they found out how he breathes”.
But in all seriousness, I love cosmic horror. This video has amazing narration and great pacing! Your(?) voice is a great match with horror type stories as well!

Starting with the description of the monsters by saying they are indescribable while describing some of their features still is truly the most lovecraft thing ever, hats off to you good sir, this story is a work of pure art and as a lovecraft fan, I approve.

The storyteller has the best deep and ominous voice that really puts you in the mood. Everything works together very well to make it an enjoyably scary experience.

And that's the reason people should read more. Any sensible person who read atleast one horror story would've yeeted that thing back into the sea.

Well done! As a fan of Lovecraft's stories, and the related tales, I quite enjoyed this!

I mean, other than defending itself and leaving, what did the Man From The Sea do? It basically got abducted and tortured, so its reaction was understandable.

Hastur, came to us...

From the deepest parts of the darkness in space...

And... He came to fulfill his wish...

Raising the dead to serve, in the army that will rip this universe to shreds...

Yes, the time will come for that, and may the dead raise, and smell the incense!
