The red haired woman’s husband is a serial cheater and his cheating lead to the death of their daughter and he made the wife (red haired lady) think she was at fault for leaving the fence open when it was actually his mistress. Their daughter got hit by a car and died and he let the wife believe she forgot to close the fence. Her and the brown hair lady made a plan to have the brown hair lady’s violent abuser husband go to jail by pulling a gun out on her husband by pretending they were having an affair. The red hair lady throws him a gun without bullets and the brown hair lady’s husband shoots him and gets life in jail and her husband is dead.

For anyone curious, Ralph, the abusive ex, is found by police, trialed in court, & sentenced to death penalty for Rob’s “murder”. I imagine after this Beth Ann helped Mary clear up any evidence of an “affair”, while exposing Ralph’s abuse towards her and likely spread word that Rob, being the playboy he was, had made advances towards Mary unwarranted setting off Ralph’s jealous rage.
