I hope they will be ok there. I don't want them mistreated.

To Korean netizens, please be kind to Filipino caregivers. They are hardworking and adaptable with people from various nationalities. To Korean men, do not flirt with Filipino caregivers if they are working in your household. They go to Korea for work, not for pleasure.

Filipinos are multilingual, speaks english on a regular basis since it was taught in schools starting from elementary level and fast learners they can easily learn hangul plus they are compassionate and very efficient thats why westerners love filipina care givers.

Well, get ready for some anger and bullying issues in South Korea. Language barrier, different culture and values may make the working situation worse than expected. As we all know, Korea is a perfectionist nation and the people here tend to be extremely critical to the employees and very demanding boss mentality mindset. Working in a Korean family house to take care humans are different from working in a factory / farm / office. The way Korean women handle their babies or children can be different from the daily norms in Philippine. Taking care elderly people in Korea is also challenging due to language and culture barrier. I hope Korean government know what they are doing. Let's pray these Philippine workers would have a good working environment despite all the challenges and obstacles they may face in the future.

In Hong Kong, husbands often have sexual affairs with their Filipino domestic helpers leading to family disputes or even divorces. Hope this kind of tragedies won't repeat in South Korea.

So basically, shipping in people from the Phillipines for cheap labor workers. I feel bad for the Filipiino care workers. I hope they will be treated well.

I hope there will come a time when some Filipinos don't have to go abroad for what's viewed by some as "undesirable jobs". This is part of the reason why Filipinos are sometimes discriminated by other nationalities coz when they see Filipinos, they see factory workers, domestic workers, nannies etc.

Don't get me wrong these are honorable jobs but I just hope Filipinos don't have to do these types of jobs in other countries in the future. I hope the Philippines develop to a point that when a Filipino goes abroad, they go there to be the manager, an engineer, a doctor etc. ✌️

What a great idea for mothers. I hope the caregivers are successful and are able to benefit well from it.

I am Korean, and I think this is exciting news. Most nannies in Korea are older Chinese-Koreans without educational backgrounds. Unfortunayely, there have been some child and elderly abuse cases. Most people who work in service industries are Chinese-Koreans now, and the quality of services have declined as well. (They don't really know how to be nice unlike Fillipinos😢) These Filipinas are well-educated, young, and dedicated enough to pass the tests to come and work for Korean families. Hope they get treated well with respect. I think it is a very positive change that Korea is trying to replace the Chinese workforce with Fillipinos.

This is a great idea, as long as these caregivers are treated well and not like second-class citizens. Also, that pay sucks.

Filipino nurses are the caring individuals. They give so much of themselves along with love.💕

I think they should be paid more, working with Koreans is not easy.

Wow! That sucks! The pay should be more. Those people who would try to get a Korean nanny should get a Korean nanny rather than being stingy and mistreating the Filipinos instead of appreciating them as wonderful caring caregivers. They should not be racist to someone trying to help your countrymen. This irks me so much.
