I use hold LB + left stick to move around the cockpit, and hold LB+RB + right stick to zoom in and out.. and click the left stick to bring up the cursor. Clicking the right stick resets the camera to default position.

I’m not sure if those are the default settings but they weren’t too hard to get used to tbh.

Controller works well and perfectly usable, aslong as you have a keyboard and mouse to use the instruments

Using a controller for landing is also fine especially with ILS approaches

Thanks for showing a video of you and your controller because I am just getting my foot in the door with Flight Sim after not playing the original one for like 10+ years and dont want to invest in any serious hardware but do have an xbox controller and figured I could at least have a bit of fun in the meantime until I decide to maybe upgrade.

You can reconfigure the controls to brake. Also X works and on the d-pad, you can use the left part of the cross to use parking brake.

You can use a keyboard with a Xbox, it has to be wired or has a chip you plug into one of the USB ports on the front or back same with the mouse
