awesome. very much appreciate you taking the effort to put this video together - FS2020 is making me come back to siming - I used to be well into in in the 1990s (suncom F15, SFS throttle, force FX, etc) then I got bored with lack of progress in sims. Things have moved on a fair bit, and videos like yours help the learning experience easier.

Your tip on mapping buttons via the save box has saved me hours or maybe even days. Thank you so much. As for stick sensitivity, I think Asobo used a good yoke to set this value with 180 degrees of movement. A stick has 25 or thirty degrees so therefore, would be much much more sensitive. I find minus 69% on pitch and aileron axis makes things a LOT better.

Excellent video. Thank heavens I found it after two days messing around trying to find out how to set up my generic joystick. I agree the rudder is way too sensitive.

Thank you so much for pointing out, how to bind a button / axis by pressing it. I was going crazy over having to know every button number. Couldn't believe that MSFS2020 would not be able to to this, when every other Sim out there is.

Thank you for your video! I've got an T.Flight Stick X, but I have 2 curves in my sensivity settings. One for negative and another one for postive sensivities.

Thanks for this. Hadn't actually noticed the rudder sensitivity. Will have to check it out but it would explaain the problems I had using pedals instead of joystick twist as rudders.

I'm using a Saitek Cyborg Graphite Joystick (2003) that I bought used from eBay almost 20 years ago. With a NEW Logitech G PRO Flight Throttle Quadrant, it was recognized by MSFS2020 right away & your Setup Tutorial is...THE BEST! Thank-You, Thank-You!

Partially got it !!! Unassign the input in controls/throttle, completely unassigned it !!! Then use your throttle, it works without being jumpy !!!!

That was really helpful - thanks! I went to the controller setup and it was completely blank, so I figured the joystick wasn't compatible.
Of course, it's because I had the filter set to "assigned"!
