I was stalked by my friend’s physically abusive ex-boyfriend after she broke up with him. He blamed me for their breakup. Him and his numerous friends terrorized me for over a year, and I never knew who was friends with him. I briefly worked a job at that time, and the assistant manager was friends with him, disclosed my employment information to him. I had no idea.

All stalkers should be held accountable. I have been for a couple years and it is so infuriating . Fake warnings to my friends and acquaintances, fake police reports, getting me fired from a lil part time job. I remember working at a hostel and the new guests were acting suspicious towards me then I realized they were stalkers sent to harass me at my job. One day I confronted them by saying why are you here harassing me, two pretended not to hear and one gay guy responded" you're too interesting to not harass. That's why" he was dead serious. Stalkers are evil I don't know when it will end. God .

Stalking is scary it takes an emotional toll on you. Your already tired from being emotionally abused and then the physical act of fight or flight mode everyday when you go anywhere. You just want it to end. You take for granted just being free to come and go once your stalked your head will always be on a swivel. You will always be on guard. You will always feel like your being watched. Your never truly comfortable again. That’s why people go back, that’s why people withdraw make excuses, sometimes they feel like they have no choice but to go back because they just want it to stop. Ever heard the phrase at least I know my monster. Years of abuse with a narcissist will change your entire life. You lose yourself. Trauma Bond is real.

There's different types of stalkers, you might have predatory stalkers who may have never been romantically involved with their victims. Sometimes stalking is a severe form of harassment in which the perpetrators of these crimes who are intentionally intrusive and who doesn't have any regard for the rights of others are mentally unhealthy and are obsessed with their victims and are obsessed with having power and control over their victims.

The law needs to take this seriously. People have died because of this. How many more victims have to put up with this preditory behavior. No good person deserves this.

My first husband stalked me for Until he got married, then he found other ways to stalk me. No matter how many times I called the police, they said he can be anywhere his kids were, he can be!!! EVEN AT MY SISTER'S HOME OR MY MOTHER'S We weren't married anymore, so why is he ALLOWED TO BE WHERE I AM????!!!! I'm so thankful that he never crossed that line and killed me. But I didn't know if he would at the time. And neither did the police. But they didn't care. Now a days, he wouldn't get away with it. But now he leaves me alone finally!!! AFTER 35 years!!!! They WILL continue to stalk you if they police and courts don't step in and put them in prison!!!!

Some ppl are stalked by their relative/s. That's EXTREMELY DIFFICULT & HIGHLY DANGEROUS TO DEAL WITH ON A DAILY BASIS!!!

I once had a bf .... and I don't know how ... but he actually found out my YouTube comment .... and that comment section had 1000+ comments and he got mad at me bcoz I appreciated that "male" YouTuber I was scared of him

I know someone who gets Stalked and she told the Authorities about it and it fell on deaf ear. She told others that she thought could help her and they said oh don't worry about him he seems harmless. Wow She said to these people This behavior should be taken Seriously. This guy shouldn't have the Attitude he is entitled to Stalk whenever he feels like it. He knows Authorities Don't care most likely he has done it before to know No one takes it How Pathetic is that. My friend is on edge all the time. Lack of Support of the Authorities it's no wonder the Stalking turns badly for the Victim and for the ones who could have helped the situation wound up saying oh we thought he was harmless I guess we were wrong. My mom did this to me. I had enough. I'd tried with her for a literal year. And while I was trying to plan to leave safely, I ended up having q trauma-i duced episode. Once I left she: filed a missing person's report, then hired a PI, then harassed my friends herself, then one morning I woke up with a fear that made the cortisone in my body feel like burning acid- and I was right. Turned out she'd learned how to hack my email and bank accounts, and had been logging in every day to monitor my activity. That's the info that gets people to back off and finally agree her behavior was scary and way over the line

For a while he didn't just stalk me. He stalked our oldest son and people he knew from school, and he stalked a friend of mine -- both online and in person.
It was a great way to scare me into self-isolation, because I didn't want him to hurt my friend. She stood by me, though. I don't think he knows what it is to have real friends.
