I grew up with a very similar situation happening to my mom. I still have some hard feelings about it. The cops didn't really care, and they could have got him one night but were "afraid" of our dog. The dog had him cornered against the fence for a few minutes. They just shined their lights on him and told him to put his hands up. He jumped over the fence once he punched the dog hard enough to get free. The next night, he tried to kill my mom by throwing a boulder through the front window she was vacuuming in front of. He then tried to get inside until my mom started screaming for my brother to get the guns.

He never called or returned again....


We used to watch out my brother's window and all we'd see was the cherry from his cigarette...
In the morning we'd find a pile of butts and knew he was probably there all night.
Truly terrifying for a young child.
It taught me the only person that will save you is you. Buy and own firearms or weapons

We need politicians to make laws against stalking. If it's not proscribed, then they can't do anything. That being said, she should speak with a lawyer and send him a cease-and-desist order or a content-certified letter if he insists and keep the CCTV footages as evidence of him trespassing.
