Some truly hyper news over Hypervisors for not one, but TWO different consoles! We discuss the recent PS5 Hypervisor exploit released named Byepervisor, the Nintendo Switch emulator Ryujinx shut down, and give some credit where credit is due with... Well, a hidden credits screen found in Majora's Mask on the GameCube! We also discuss two amazing breakthroughs on the Xbox 360: One being a Hypervisor exploit for the latest kernel version, and the other making it possible to reflash some SSD models to work on retail kernel, unmodified Xbox 360 consoles!

American wasteland is already a little pricey on 360, but I bet it'll get even more expensive in the near future

Man I have to give it MS, they really locked the 360 down, it's nearly 20 years later and still no way to soft mod it.

Cool the 360 with the "softmod" still has the security Sticker on it

i don't understand why they would send this XBOX360 hypervisor exploit to Microsoft first? its not like its an active console anymore

and its sad that we won't have a proper 360 softmod but it is what it is

Excuse me but a software exploit that even works for the Winchester is huge

Thank you for sticking that channel for so long!

Idk why you're surprised about USB storage working in an old game. It's just an extension of the console's existing storage API, adding another device other than the HDD or Memory Units, it works with any game that uses the 360's storage API (so all of them lol).

Small correction to you listing 360 drive sizes: 20GB, 60GB, 120GB, 250GB, *320GB*, and 500GB. This means that people with a Phison controlled 480GB SSD might get that 320GB option (slightly less of a waste of money than for 250GB haha).

Great to see more options for Xbox 360 storage are now available for stock retail consoles, especially since HDD's that Microsoft sold are becoming hard to find

the most annoying stickers are when you buy from a garage sale, damaged the boxed copy of Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. True story, still got it in a display box though.

now we need someone to make a homebrew installer for the xbox 360

I always found it odd how Playstation consoles are always the easiest to mod because of softmodding even though Sony showed they tried to stop it (Removing the Web Browser in the PS5, updating their older consoles just to halt jailbreaks, etc)

Nintendo is a close second because some you can mod easily but some you need to hardmod

But Xbox is like the only console to never get a easy softmod, the og can be softmodded but thats a pain with you still needing to buy parts just to make it worth it

Kinda wild this would mean you'd need a console that was just not used beyond the first few months if released when stock was scarce and scalped heavy.

At least with the SSDs, any extra unused space will give some expanded lifespan, since the controller has more flash available for wear leveling. Especially since these likely don’t have a DRAM cache.

That can only mean more 360 modders if it becomes more stable. Hopefully it does mainly from the game preservation side.

Tony Hawk's American wasteland is £10 or less in CEX for the PS2, Xbox OG, PC and Gamecube and £28 for the Xbox 360 version. They've probably seen an influx of people buying a copy second hand in the UK

At 36:00 I don't think that's damage, that might just be underfill glue

Tony Hawk had option to save/load park on USB from the begining.

It's probably related to Tony Hawk exploit that was revealed earlier this year. It would be safe to assume, other Tony Hawk games can be used for this. I actually wanted to get American Wasteland as achievement list seems pretty easy, but I guess it won't be that simple to find. Even if the author says it won't lead to softmod, the game isn't that common to begin with.
