TBIH2024 | Open for You

Country manager of Aperti per Voi at the Touring Club Italiano Nadia Pellacani talks to TBIH's Cheeyun Kwon about the Open for You project. In 2023 it won the European Heritage Award / Europa Nostra Award in the Category Citizens Engagement & Awareness-raising.

Thanks to Aperti per Voi project, Touring Club Italiano promotes voluntary activities to make wonderful places, otherwise not open, accessible to everyone. Since 2005, over 21.000.000 visitors have been welcomed in more than 80 cultural places all over Italy. The strength of Touring Club is its voluntary structure: over 1.600 volunteers, every day, welcome visitors and promote the knowledge of the common heritage. As European citizens and as Touring, our priority is taking care, every day, of wonderful places that belong to all of us and that represent our cultural heritage, enhancing art and culture to pass them on to our children.
