That was amazing! I have always wanted to get my pilots license. In the next few years, I will be closer than ever. I live 4 miles from Gillespie Field here in San Diego. They have a great program from what I heard. The only thing holding me back is the financial aspect. I have made some goals, and have new budgets in order. If everything works out as planned I will be at least VFR licensed. Right now I think I am going to start looking for books so I can study and be ahead of the game.

Really was great to see this vintage airplane at work as if it were it's first day off the assembly line! :) Thanks for the video.

That looked like a fun trip! The clouds nearing sunset were epic.

This is not over until you get your antique Cessna tee-shirts! Thanks for posting another great adventure.

East Bound you would be at 7500' / 8500 if your West Bound. C140??? one of my old time Favs. Love the C180, cheers. I bet she will shine with a wash and some wax and a bit of loving. Really love tail wheel flying, but I own a PA-24 180 Piper Comanche for speed and payload. Enjoy your channel, cheers to all you are doing for the sport of PPG

Sweet vid! This brings back memories of my ol' 46 Cessna 140. Cumulus sunsets are magical from the air! Long xc's are so much fun.

My grandfather had a '47 140; I had my first ride before I was two. I don't have a tailwheel endorsement, but I'd love to find one of my own.

Another great video, so I see you got your private license, I remember when you flew the 150 across the country with Melissa you were still working on it. Congrats man

Wow! That sunset and the clouds!
11.7 hours is way better than 15 hours driving and with way better scenery.
Little suggestion: can you include a bit more of a description in your video description?

Nice flight Eric!! When I brought my cherokee home I picked it up in Oklahoma and flew it to CT. Even slept in it one night at Sporty’s. (Which was awful by the way) totally worth it though.

Airplane buffs want to see some more camera angles, more takeoffs and more landings. Still.. thumbs up from me!

Great video, Eric!  Just looking at the fuselage and tail section of that aircraft, it has a style a person doesn't see often.  If you didn't decide to keep it, you could always trade it for a Kitfox.  I could hear it now: "Hi, I'm Eric Farewell.  I fly paramotors for a living and drones for fun.  Follow along as I venture off the beaten path of aviation."  Of course, you'd have to lose your gas cap and make an emergency landing in the middle of nowhere and wait 6 hours for someone to come get just kidding.  I enjoy his videos as well....

A true C120 had no skylights, D windows or electrical system, but Cessna made some “on the line” mods to some which were standard on C140’s(also all 140’s had flaps)

I enjoyed watching your adventure!
