Buying a Private Jet in Cash and Flying It 1,800 Miles Home!

We bought a Cessna Citation 501 private jet sight unseen then flew it home nearly 2,000 miles across the country. Buying a private at 27 and 23 years old is wild! Been dreaming about this for years. Can't wait to share videos about jet ownership, maintenance costs, fun $100 hamburgers flights, etc. Should we upgrade the interior, panel, or paint?

I'm 75 years old. I flew 15 years in the Coast Guard and 22 years with the airlines. From helicopters, seaplanes, C130's to 717's, DC-8s and DC-10's. What you guys have achieved is nothing less than astounding! Would that I had the ambition, drive and resourcefulness you guys have when I was your age. Congratulations!

Retired ATC, 30 years. Great video! I loved the professionalism even though its your jet and you are all so young! No one treated anything like a toy. Be safe, have fun!

When I was 23 I was flying B-52's in SEA. I never dreamed of being a pilot until the month after I graduated from college, when the draft board said they needed my body in Viet Nam. I wasn't hot to join the army infantry, so I enlisted in the Air Force and they decided to put me in the cockpit for the next 5 years. Your video reminded me of how much I miss flying, even now when I am 81. I hope you appreciate not having to deal with the draft and being able to live your young lives in the manner you choose. I admit that I loved the years I spent flying, but it prevented me from going to medical school as I had planned and at 28 I was considered too old for that after I was discharged. Keep following your dreams and be safe in the air and on the ground.

The blend of a chill vibe (fist bumps and general enthusiasm) combined with real CRM and true professionalism in terms of the execution of the flight has got to be one of the best things we can be showing the next generation of pilots. I can't help but notice the number of older/senior pilots in the comments pointing out what a kick they're getting from seeing these guys realize their dreams and doing it the right way. It's great to see that great content does NOT have to involve people acting like idiots. Hats off to all involved and congratulations on your purchase!

Stumbled upon this channel after watching some other airline videos. Must say, I'm bit of an airplane nerd, maybe dates back to when my grandmother took me to the airport to watch planes takeoff and land. Love watching to this day.
Side note, impressed with these videos and you guys, entertained and I'll keep watching!
How'd you get your start as entrepreneurs? Being new to the channel, did you get your starts as influencers? I'm very happy for you all, you're so right, nothing is given but only earned! Those expecting things handed to them in life, tell me how that works? You don't go to the gym, you don't get chiseled. You work hard, you see results!

Congratulations guys! Great attitudes, motivation, and honesty. Also refreshing to hear young adults speak without dropping profanity and unintelligent conversation. Wish you all the best!

What a beautiful plane. I have several hundred hours in a 501 before I moved on to Gulfstreams and Phenoms. I fly mostly rotor wings now. I am very pleased to see five young men of your age doing well in life without handouts and making your first grand purchase. Your pilots sounded very knowledgeable and professional. Best of luck to you all and may you always have blue skies and tailwinds.

My son is 16 and starting to get some time, and I'm a former pilot. Glad to see some young people getting things done and having a good time. If you ever get by VSF in Vermont, lunch is on me! My friend flies a 525C and we get to catch rides here and there- sweet rides!

What inspiration, guys! Making Boss moves and living the dream! I'm so happy for you all. While most men, especially young, are out here chasing women, blowing money, and having no drive, you guys did what people only dreamed about or took a lifetime to accomplish. God bless you all and congratulations!

Guys… I’m really proud of y’all!!! I’m 36 years old and I got my PPL when I was 16, I didn’t even have my drivers license yet, I got my multi, instrumentation, commercial, CFI when I was 18, then my grandfather passed away and left me his real nice Beechcraft King Air 350i, Beechcraft baron, and his Beechcraft bonanza V tail. I still have all but the bonanza, I traded it off for a Cirrus SR 22, witch i cry thinking about how big a mistake that was. Still to this day I’ve never been the owner of a turbo fan aircraft like that, although I am the chick, captain aboard the bombardier global, 7500, long range, business class jet! Broke a world record on the longest range ever flown in a business class jet, Singapore nonstop to Tucson, Arizona, about 8200 nautical mile nonstop.

This is incredible to watch. A lot of respect for how you all handle yourselves. Seeing young people doing this is awesome. Business plan to make this investment, pilots are aware, excited and professional. I grew up flying in the early 70's with vintage aircraft in a country town in Australia. We had a vintage glider and tow plane. I was young so I would keep the books ($2 tow to 2000 ft and then 10 cents a minute for flight time !!!) After doing this all day I would get a free flight. Great times.
