it’s crazy how many people say like “you can’t game on smth like a 1660 or 2050” yes you can. not at 4k 120, but for 1080p they’re great

Pcs can last a decade if taking care of and not stressed. If you play esports and most people lower setting to get more fps. So yeah these pc will work great for alot of people. Not pretty but it works

1660 SUPER was my first dedicated GPU before upgraded to a 3070, and that 1660 was honestly a low key beast. Doom eternal ultra nightmare graphics at 130FPS, war thunder high settings 90FPS

Best advice I’ve received during my pc gaming lifetime was only upgrade when your rig can’t do what you want. I upgraded just recently, from 16gb of ram to 64 bc I want my Skyrim modlist to be updated to 2025 graphics and the ram was bottlenecking my cpu.

1660 super was my first gpu and I played GTA 5, Minecraft with resource packs and shaders, and even Elden Ring all at 1440p on that thing. Its a good little card.

Upgrading my i7-7th gen/1050ti laptop to a ryzen 5 7600x/7800xt desktop... 8 years later. I threw the towel when it started freezing on the games i wqnted to play 😂

yeah i suffer from this problem, bought an RX 7900XTX last year and now feel like buying the Ryzen 5070, because apparently it is the same performance as a 4090

I got a prebuilt in like 2018-2019 had a 1060 that i rocked up untill a few weeks ago. Now its my brother's to use till i can build him a new one

The 3060 is far from dated and the 1660 kinda is kinda can cause a bottleneck depending on the game but the 3060 is big chillin

“You can play a ton of games on them” isn’t a flex when you don’t mention what resolution or frame rate you get with that. The vast majority of dedicated GPUs that are being sold anywhere can “play a ton of games”, you can play most games with the bare minimum GPU if you just lower the graphic settings and have a 1080p monitor
