You are very blessed with all the equipment you have to use on your farm! This is the time to get your roads in great shape and well packed-down before winter. We haven't seen Mrs. Stoney Ridge in the videos lately, I hope she is well and will be an integral part of the future of the farm. You are a "Twice Blessed" man!

Awesome video josh seems like anytime there's a farm project it always takes extra time and money. But the end result is always better when its done right.

Hey Josh! I am amazed at the wide range and depth of knowledge that is required to run a farm...and how to get the most out of the specialized equipment as well! I would hate to have to do that same chore with a wheelbarrow, shovel, spade, pickaxe, & rake! WOOF! I think that you are right when you say that TIME is our most precious commodity!

Hey Josh with respect it has to be set at a 1-inch / 4 foot drop recommended stake level string line careful drainage grade also set the pipe below ground level & that any big truck can run over pipe without compromising integrity of its walls. Lots of decades in construction you paid a bunch for that pipe do it right my brother. If I messed & didn't see that you did all that apologies

Good morning! I can relate to solving a drainage problem in a low-slope setting. I couldn’t tell how high you made that causeway, but it looked to be a couple feet. It took a lotta fill and many trips at 4” per lift! And when we saw how far you had to haul that gravel, wow! Yeah, big project. Looks good now though. It will be a big help to be able to haul stone to the far end of that road in the dump truck now.

I have the T175 Yanmar version of the Gehl. Great machines. Shallow grave for that pipe though

Josh, that was pretty good digging with the skid steer for the trench. I guess using what you have to work with has to work. Probably would've been easier to use an excavator, but hey, it worked out. Thanks bro!

I have experienced it first hand. Hopefully you don't have to go through it, but if you put down a matting beneath the gravel it keeps it from washing away and also it keeps weeds from growing up through your gravel. Your work looks great!
