Sadly it is an issue in the US too, the AMA scandal went on for 30 years, so disappointed by the FDA considering sunscreens are regulated as DRUGS in the US

I used the Purito Comfy version during the summer and noticed a lot of my hyperpigmentation came back. I'm now using Neutrogena mineral liquid spf 50. I'm not going to be using foreign or small independent brands.

I got into purito because of you & I love their products they calm my skin. One thing I have learn in life is that we all make mistakes even doctors so I appreciate the brand for taking responsibility because it shows that they do care in my opinion 🙊🙉🙈

This problem isn't unique to Korean sunscreens. Consumer Reports tested a bunch of US sunscreens and almost none met the labeled spf. Ugh. I've been using the Comfy Water Sunblock since March, and haven't had a problem but I have an unopened tube of the Centella sunscreen and now I just want my money back. I've already had a basal cell taken off of my shoulder, so I need to make sure I'm protected. I'm going to try that Allie one you recommended. I've had such a hard time finding a sunscreen that I'm not allergic to and my skin doesn't instantly hate, and thought I had finally found a good one with the Purito Comfy Water Sunblock. I hope Purito tests it as well.

I have been sceptical from the beginning since the comfy water version is an all-mineral & no-nano particles filter and it should be physically impossible to leave such little white cast with those attributes. Then I got sunburned on my face while my body didn't even show the slightest uv-damage although I used spf30 on my body and the supposedly spf50 on my face. That's when I stopped using Purito for outdoor activities. I hope someone will test the comfy water version as well to confirm that it's at least spf19 and I can continue using it up for less sunny days.

My heart goes out to y'all that have made Purito their HG sunscreen 😞. This is just disappointing and I can't imagine how betrayed some of them feel right now. I purchased that Dr Jart. I don’t use it as a regular sunscreen. There is no way I could use a quarter teaspoon on my face. It is a thick green goop. I just use it as an extra protector over my sunscreen on non makeup days. It helps counter act redness.

I will label mine as SPF 19 and use for regular days. Will need to find another UVA effective SPF 30 -50 for beach days. Thankyou for a fair and balanced review!

I'm still planning to use the Purito bottles I have-but only before work when I'm dashing out early in the morning, am barely outside, and am in a hurry to apply something that goes on easily. Every other time, I'll use something stronger.

I was so angry that I couldn't get the purito sunscreen this summer because of the virus. So instead I used different european brands and now I'm kinda happy about it.

Looks like I'll lower my standards and just accept some alcohol and/or fragrance in my sunscreen & just pray they do me no harm as I'm trying to protect my skin :((
