In today's video, I'm sharing my story of how studying abroad in Rome motivated me to move to Italy long term. I talk about how my experience in Rome really changed me and how I knew I needed to find a way to move to Italy. I also share some options to move to Italy and share my experience getting a study visa for Italy as an Italian language student. While I have a more detailed video about how I prepared for my move abroad to Italy, in this video I also go over how to get a student visa for Italy, what documents you need, and how to prepare. Let me know if you have other questions, hope you enjoy this video!

Thanks for the info! I’m going through this process now in Philadelphia.. Every consulate has different requirements 🤦‍♂️. “Get more than you think you need, ” well said.

Just found your channel. I'm binge watching to learn all I can. My wife and I hope to retire in Italy. We live in the US, Los Angeles! If we retired now, we would not be making the required $3400 per month for a retirement visa. We do have some savings, and I wonder if a lower monthly income amount with more in savings would work or if they are sticklers about following the income requirements. I am thinking about trying for a student visa otherwise. I need to learn Italian anyway! I read that the student visa may not allow my spouse to come with me. That would be a deal breaker. You could start a business helping English speakers move to Italy!

This video was so helpful and informative! Thank you for the info! Like you said, there’s definitely kind of a lack of information out there about the whole process. I’m currently in the process of researching student visas, and I was wondering if you renewed yours specifically for another language program? And I’m assuming you renewed it from Italy? I wasn’t sure if you could renew the initial six-month or one-year visa for language a language program for another year, and have had trouble finding answers! Thanks again for a great video!!
