You might aswell dismantle the whole thing at this stage. And clean the internals thoroughly. Check clearances and use new parts where necessary.

Yeah break it down than sand the cylinder walls with the shavings so you don't have to hone it 😅 next the disc sander to micro sand the top of the block

I would only use this method to remove the pistons without using any power. It must be done by hand.
