I’m not even married and didn’t look for this video. But I’ll take that as a sign that God will send me a godly husband and wants to prepare me.

I am not married but I really want to be so I am still watching because I want to be a good wife to my husband when he finally meets me, praying for him so much ☺

Going for a walk with my husband sounds like the most trivial thing, yet it has me welling up. ❤

I love the fact that you state that you are all in one. And I love that even though your kids may feel embarrassed at the grocery, they get to see what a good Godly woman looks like. Props to you! 🤍🎀

Excellent! I learn this: If you want to be the best as a wife, as a minister, as a mother, or else .. its oke if you make mistakes, and always learning to be better, not compare ourself to others but to ourself in the past, not listen to the accuser.

Blessing to us all. Thanks Lisa.

This is excellent information but ‘going to the right people’ is a bit tricky in this day and age because there are people who love nothing more than to undercut your efforts. I’m working on my trust issues due to my upbringing. I’m harshest on myself but I’m improving.

Great answers! I can say that Gen X is one of the strongest generations because we didn’t have instant access to the internet to give us those answers. We had to figure out life with a lot of mistakes and we learned from them. This is the wisdom that is coming from us Gen X- pouring out to the Millenials and Gen Z - our pain and answers came with trial and error. Not a Google question and instant answer. There’s a lot to be said with what we had to learn. Thank you Lisa! This encouraged me greatly!

Especially the part of the "talking to friends" about your marriage problems. Don´t do it. First you do not you, if some of these "friends" will go and talk to others and spread the bad news (the more something is spoken about, the more it becomes a manfiested reality! )and second they can use it against you (and some of them will). There are not many people I will ever call a friend. I only had 2 in my life so far. Be careful about this and rather seek counsel from a professional.

As a single woman in my 40s I regret spending my 20s and 30s at church thinking I would meet my husband while serving God putting my life and future in hold. People specially women!! read your bibles and don’t fall for a culture that wants to keep you slaved to a ministry. Marry! Have children and enjoy life and the love of Jesus

Wow. I love that take on don't try to separate the roles. That was very interesting.

It was so helpful to hear you say that the 80's were weird, that we were supposed to know everything. I was a teenager then and I still struggle with that a lot! It's helpful just to know that about what was going on in my formative years.

Love you Lisa. Thank you so much for your transparency. You are a blessing and God bless you and John for your beautiful ministry and the wonderful young men you have raised and your heart for other people.

Beautiful, thank you, Lisa. God bless you, your family and your Ministry. I am three in one as well. These roles can't be fractured/compartmentalized, with our main identity being a CHILD OF GOD! 😊

Thank you for sharing and being open, listening to you was so healing and encouraging at the same time ❤
I also appreciate your candid reflection on what you'd want to do more to grow... holistically is a word that stood out for me and brought everything together harmoniously❤

Wholeheartedly thank you. May God bless you, your family and everything you do for God's glory 🤗

I love this! It's not about balancing/ juggling, because we are always all of our identities .. this resonates. And at the same time knowing when to make one thing the full focus, eg not trying to fit time with the children into a preaching trip. Thank you x
