You know those gatherings where things get a little tense because two people in the group have different opinions on something? Maybe you have been on one of the sides, and were in the tension too. Divisive moments like those can lead to broken relationships. But how do we respond?

We forgive. Human nature is flawed, so we are all going to hurt one another at some point. Is it better to forgive or live with unforgiveness? Carrying the characteristics of God - love, grace, mercy, and forgiveness - flows into our relationships with others.

Katy Nichole wrote “Things I Wish I Would Have Said” as an anthem that points us toward forgiveness. Knowing we are forgiven, we can forgive others.

“When you have the opportunity to say I love you, I miss you, I need you … say those things! Don’t miss the opportunity to say them.” Tune in to hear more!

In this episode, you will hear Candace and Katy discuss:
How divisive moments can lead to broken relationships
The importance of bringing the characteristics of God into every day relationships
Not living with regret and trusting God’s plan will unfold anyway
Scripture that points toward forgiveness

Beautiful. I lost my mom last year when she was diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer. We had 6 months with her and it was a blessing to get that time to say things I wish I would’ve said. As a guy, This song helped me express my feelings.. I’d tell her, mom..I love, I miss you and I need you. Over and over for 6 months. Thank you so much. We became so close in those 6 months. Thanks to this song there is nothing left that I wish I would’ve said.

God definitely spoke to me in this episode as it has been the theme of my week. I have heard a sermon on this subject, I was watching a show that in it said “Forgiveness lightens the heart” and now watching this is the cherry on the cake. As most thing are when these type things happen are hard but after watching this I think cannot deny that God is trying to tell me something. I’m sure y’all hear this all the time but God is using y’all in ways you wouldn’t think of! Such an impactful episode!!

Matthew 5:23-24 "Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you,   leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift." To me, that is the essence of this song and it is very much Biblically based. One of my favorites on the album. 😊

Is important in school also to have friends like you, because even Jesus was surrounded by 12 disciples, so every time you can be together with them talking.

when he was left alone, it was for him to be crucified,
