Upcoming Wii U Games - Nintendo Direct 1-23-2013

Iwata dropped the bomb today. On today's Nintendo Direct, Iwata announced that a new 3D Mario game, new Mario Kart game for Wii U, the new Smash Bros for Wii U and 3DS would be shown at E3 this year. Iwata also unveiled a new Yoshi game for the Wii U in the same style as Kirby's Epic Yarn, a Shin Megami Tensei/Fire Emblem crossover, Wind Waker HD, and Monolith Soft's Wii U game. MEGATON!!!

I've been excited about Zelda Wii U since I checked out the Zelda HD Experience at E3 in 2011.

There were more dungeons planned in the Gamecube version but they were removed.

They just said that they will be showing first screens of the game at E3 this year.

Maybe we'll find out at E3 this year or possibly another Nintendo Direct.

I hope they do put in the dungeons that were removed in the Gamecube version.

I'm more excited about the Yoshi game than I am for any of those other titles.

I would really like to see a Majora's Mask 3D soon! I can add that to my list of 3DS Must Buys with Luigi's Mansion, Animal Crossing, Pokemon XY, and Smash Bros

There is definitely going to be a new Mario Kart for Wii U.

I hope they make both a Starfox & F-Zero game for Wii U.

I have a PS3, an Xbox 360, Wii and Wii U. What I really admire about Nintendo is that they're not crazy for making their games look so realistic and hardcore like the other consoles. As Sony and Microsoft battle each other (for who has the better graphics, experience etc) Nintendo mainly aim for bright and colourful gameplay which unfortunately most gamers dislike nowadays (because they rely on realistic graphics)

I really want to see what they're going to do with metroid, because that series is one of my favorites.
