The Wii U is such an underrated console, so many good games

People forget that the WiiU is fully compatible with Wii games . It's the best option to experience the huge Wii library

just bought a wii u recently and I am amazed how good the console is. this helped me find the right games to play

Wait! You forgot something, Zombi U! Not even an honorable mention that game is amazing, it doesn’t make zombies into the weakest creature ever, the zombies can take a beating, they survive a headshot, multiplayer where one player (Gamepad) places zombies to capture flags and hunt the player while the other uses the Wii U Pro Controller or Wiimote & Nunchuck to shoot zombies and capture the flag, single player where when you die, you have to hunt your corpse or zombified past self to get your stuff back. You forgot to include one of the best 3rd party games that perfectly uses the Gamepad, if you want to open your inventory in single-player, you open your backpack on the Gamepad to grab stuff, and your defenseless while doing so.

This video helped me realize how underrated the Wii U was. The biggest problem it had was that the games were spread out too much to where it didn't feel like we were getting releases as frequently as we have been getting during the Switch era.

I believe that Pikmin 3 can feel a lot more seamless as far as the controls when playing with the GamePad only, despite it feeling more natural to players who have played the previous Wii remasters to play with the remote and nunchuk.

I still play Splatoon 1 to this day. There are a surprisingly large number of people still playing it online.

Nintendo Land’s situation is truly depressing. It’s one of the best games I’ve ever played, but it will never be able to reach its true potential in terms of reach because it is only available on a console that relatively few people have. And unlike other Wii U titles, it can’t really be ported to the switch because of how heavily it relies on the Wii U’s hardware. Every single game would be downgraded if Nintendo attempted to port the games over, meaning it’s only hope would be a sequel that has a similar gameplay loop but features new attractions instead of ported ones.

One of the best purchases I ever made was a Wii U with Zelda BotW, TP, and WW, Smash Bros, and Mario Cart. I did this a year after the Switch launch and got that whole package at gamestop for under $300.
