"At least 10 incidents since November 2021". Jeez! I wonder how many incidents Tri-Rail had since November last year. After all, they operate more frequent trains, run on the same tracks and operate at the same speeds. But no, you only hear about Brightline. I'm sure FDOT "has nothing to do" with shedding a bad light on its competitor. Especially since the news media focuses/blames Brightline rather than the irresponsible driver. What would they have said if it was CSX, Amtrak or Tri-Rail?... Go figure.

i was worried that these accidents would make the train derail and kill the passengers, but since no one actually rides on Brightline I guess it's okay.
