Saving time, and aggravation, with the film gear you use is very important not to mention helpful, and that's what I'm sharing about. I share about some great Kondor Blue gear like the quick release plates, HDMI cables, and magical magic arm. There's other brands mentioned as well such as Fomito and Small HD and how or why they are good or not so good options for creating quick and easy setups that save you time and aggravation.

Here's where you can find the gear!

NOTE: this is not the exact one I have, but actually better

I feel like I’ve been sleeping on Kondor Blue (as the kids say). These are awesome tools. 😎

I soooo many of those quick releases. Its become such an invaluable tool in my work flow. They really are a great company. And they warranty those plates for life. So if they ever fail, they will send you a new one for free.

Hey Heather, I’m commenting here but I’ve just watched a bunch of your videos and it all started with the Think Tank Production Manager 50 (that I now own partially thanks to you). I just wanted to let you know that I really enjoy your content and that I’m sure that the YouTube algorithm will make you blow up in the upcoming weeks/months.

Keep up the great work, 👌
Thank you for your passion from a fellow filmmaker in France 🇫🇷 ✌️

They sent me a half cage for my BMPCC 4K. They are terrific! Very light weight.

Love hearing specific-use case reviews, as that's really how we all use this stuff anyway! Everyone is different in how they might need to rig up a monitor, so you talking about the modular magic arms is a great point... I have arms in that same style, and never thought of swapping out 3/8ths and 1/4-20 screws on the end before this!! Thanks for posting :)

Looks like solid accessories. Love the blue steel theme too.

Love those coiled cables. Personally, I prefer to have my monitor attached to camera via the baseplate or a half-cage. Attached to the head means disconnect cables etc every time I switch to handheld, slider etc. I've actually seen some people nearly destroy their setup because they forgot that their monitor was attached to camera and head - not necessarily two things you want tethered.

Would love to see how long the magic arm lasts before it wears down.
Also this is what I want, gear that matters. Not just the flashy stuff. Workflow is everything

On the topic of saving time, I'd recommend investing in a V-mount/Gold Mount battery plate. It can seem expensive, but the peace of mind that you get from having one battery to think about and change is worth it.

I've got the Fotga DP500 plate, which works fine, but in retrospect I'd probably suggest the Lanparte VBP01 (mainly because it has a D-Tap port on the plate)

I won't buy kondor blue ever again. very bad customer service and very bad product too. I got a cage that didn't work like it should and the answer was "buy the new cage"
