Is it just me or Ben loses the scar en his face when Rey heals him? Because he definitely has it in the begining of the fight and from 2:46 I can't see it anymore and not in the rest of the movie actually now that I think about it🤔

0:07 she force grabs/blocks his light saber, leaving him completely open to attack, only to hit the light saber instead of a clean stab or strike to somewhere in the COMPLETELY EXPOSED parts of his body that would have killed him. Did production just not see this or did they pull another vanishing knife trick like the last movie.

the fighting is fine enough but Leia whispering "Ben" and then laying down to die so that Ben comes back to the light side is both so cheap for a character's arc and kinda disrespectful to both Leia and Carrie that they just chose to lay down and be killed somehow when Ben gets stabbed. I'm all for the Force being weird and discovering some new ability in each movie but... I still can't wrap my head around that other than finding a reason to kill off Leia.

Rey has gotten stronger since the fight in the forest on starkiller but you notice in this she’s overwhelmed her anger kinda killed her strength and Ren almost won if it wasn’t for leia unfortunately I would have loved to see ren win

My issue with this scene, as cool as it is, is that it totally ruins Qui Gons death. Surely Obi Wan could've done the same for him as Rey does for Kylo

This fight is trash. There wasn't a single good lightsaber fight in the entire sequel trilogy. But that fits in with the rest of the sequel trilogy, bad plot, hardly any good NEW actors (only Adam Driver was really good from the NEW ones)


Remember the great fights before - Maul against Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan, Yoda against Palpatine, the Jedi in Episode 2 against Dooku, Mace and Co. against Palpatine, Vader against Luke on Bespin and on Death Star, Anakin against Obi-Wan, Ben against Vader.
They had tension, were accompanied by great soundtracks, were sometimes elaborately choreographed, had a cool location, there was good dialogue in between.

This fight had none of that. Rey holds her lightsaber in a totally unorthodox way ( 0:32 ) - I've never seen a Jedi fight like that and her weird moaning and gasping... Is that a Monica Seles tennis match or what?

Kylo's lightsaber is just totally ridiculous, give that man a normal lightsaber.

Any scene with kylo ren is great. Rey is the worst character in the whole of the Star Wars universe. Even Jar Jar Blinks places higher.

First time seeing the whole sequence. It's significantly worse than I imagined. Awful choreography. Boring and sloppy.
