This Video Will Change Your View of CHINA! (no more lies)

In this video, I expose the most common myths and misconceptions the West holds about China. Discover how these false narratives fall apart when faced with reality and how visiting China can completely transform your understanding of the country.

China’s approach to handling the corrupt and biased narratives spread by western media has been nothing short of strategic brilliance. Rather than engaging in a tit-for-tat battle of media narratives or attempting to counter disinformation with more articles and rebuttals, China took a more effective route: they opened their borders.

By offering visa-free travel to citizens of many countries, China invited the world to experience its reality firsthand, allowing foreigners to see the country’s development, culture, and progress with their own eyes.

This move is a testament to China's confidence in its achievements and its openness to genuine, unfiltered engagement with the global community. Instead of relying on words or media battles, China let its cities, people, and transformative growth speak for themselves, empowering travelers to witness the truth and form their own opinions.

In doing so, China bypassed the biased middlemen of Western media, opting for a direct connection with the world that has proven to be far more persuasive and impactful.

I live in London and have visited China many times, the latest is spending 25 days in Nov 2024 touring 10 provinces in China using HSR and metro.
This video shows the truth.
The following facts cannot be disputed:-
(1) China is a lot cleaner and more modern than the west.
(2) China has considerably less crimes and for women it is "definitely safer" than the west.
(3) Cost of living in China is way below the west but the standard of living is way above.
(4) Public areas that can be enjoyed by the citizens in China are beyond comparison with the west.
(5) Public transportation in China isn't just the best but also the biggest, most comprehensive, most modern and most affordable in the world.

I am also a laowai, living in Chengdu, and when I came to China myself, I think, I've experienced a culture shock. Everything I've been told about China was a lie

I’m a United States citizen. When I was younger, I used to go to China for gymnastics competitions. So many beautiful high rise buildings and everyone was so nice.

German living in China with family for 7 years. Can confirm, life is good here. You get used to the rich tech features available here really fast, going back to Europe is shocking, like traveling back in time. Here I have no keys (fingerprint or facial recognition or phone app locks), no cash (phone payment is universal), 5G is old news, gigabit at home for almost 5 years now. It's super safe, I mean so safe that when I forgot some music gear on the sidewalk, it was still there when I came back 12 hours later. My kids can go around by themselves even later in the evening. Services are opulent and very well organized, everything is available on your phone, even hospitals, car repairs, plumber, electrician, you name it. Navigation apps show you a countdown to when traffic lights turn green, anything you book or buy online is immediately geolocated. Much more efficient overall than Western Europe.

Homeless people everywhere, rude people everywhere, trash everywhere, insane prices for food, hotels, and airbnb's, that sounds like Southern-California.

I am a former South American, living in Australia for 50 years. I am an Australian citizen... I have been in China ten times, from 2003 to 2024, for family visits and tourism. I have spend more than a full year in China, if I add the time of those visits together. Living in big cities or visiting small towns and villages. This young fellow is telling the absolute truth. The Chinese are friendly, polite, serious, hard working, dignified people who emblace foreigners and enjoying the incredible progress of their society. When I visit China I feel save, happy and even optimitic... In China I can see the future of a better humanity. In a few months, I will be visiting again. Now, is even more easy... We Australians, don´t need a chinese Visa anymore, for short visits of 30 days or less!... Cheers!

China is a 5, 000 year old civilization and it does not need to answer to anyone in the West. In the 1960s, my parents needed to send old clothing and money to our poor relatives in China (I am from Singapore). Fast forward 60 years, I would witness - in my lifetime - the rise of China to becoming the second largest economy on Earth. And for good measure, they lifted 600 million Chinese from poverty. The West can try their level best to contain China but they won't succeed. The Chinese certainly do not need the West's "advice" on democracy and how to run a country!

This was a month ago, and now we have this trade war. I hate how much misinformation westerners are told about China, when it is such a beautiful, proud and strong country.
I am American and I have always been so in awe by the Chinese people and the beauty of the landscape.

I just wish our UK leaders would stop talking about China as if it's some kind of 'evil enemy' and start learning how to copy how China's leadership works. Let's make it as good here for the people of the UK .

I live in Indonesia and travel to China at least once a year. And I agree with you that China's cities have really been cleaned up and are beautiful. I especially love the high speed rail for travelling around inside China -so much better than flying. I just wish that they would stop redrawing the internationally recognized ocean boundaries and seizing the reefs, bullying the fishing boats from Indonesia and Filipines, etc.... This is happening on a daily basis and tragically impacting the lives of poor families and entire communities who depend on the oceans surrounding their countries and who are already struggling to make a living.

I was born in Australia and back in the day, it was a great place to live. Low crime rate, affordable housing and cheap to eat out. But now in 2025, Australia is in many ways unaffordable and unpleasant. Every other day, I hear on the news or someone close to me have their personal belongings stolen, cars slashed, houses broken in. It’s a completely broken system in the west which people don’t admit to. If this happened in China, you would get punished and more than a slap on the wrist. If there was a choice between 2, I would choose financial freedom over political freedom bullshit. China has gone so advanced in both infrastructure, education level, standard of living. What they take in pictures is not AI created, it’s what you see in real life. I was there January 2025 in fo tian and Shen zhen bay. Absolutely immaculate cities and services. Honestly better than america throwing money into military to kill more people, they have done nothing else to advance their own country.

Anyone who has been in China knows everything you say is true. I was rarely in the city centres, but in the suburbs and found the streets and walkways so clean and people so friendly. In the City Centres of Shenzhen and Nanchang, it is amazing and places are built for the people - the money is spent on the people, not on billionaires.
