You missed one crucial thing: Only cool guys don't look at explosions...

Typical movie cliche :

1. Main character have UNLIMITED AMMO (bad guys always reload every 10 seconds, main character can shoot thousand of rounds without reloading)
2. Female character who NEVER shoot gun before instantly become a "sniper" and shoot bad guy either right in the hearth or right in the head when the main character in a tight situation.
3. Bad guy always TALKING before shooting, usually bad guy fails because he/she talks too much and the good guy either escape, or win the battle.
4. Bad guys "SHARP SHOOTER" can't even hit a main character even after they wasted hundreds of rounds, meanwhile "newbie shooter" from good guys can shoot and kill every bad guys on the screen, 1 shoot = 1 kill.

Didn't mention that supressors don't make guns sound like kittens jumping on a pillow. Cartridges that aren't sub-sonic still create a sonic boom regardless of supressors.

Star wars is from a Galaxy far far away...
So maybe in that region, their asteroid belt is extremely dense

Light sabers and blasters in Star Wars don't use light. They use plasma.

If I ever make a movie, I'm doing it with actual physics.

Roman Pearce (Tyrese Gibson) actually broke his arm in the yacht crash, so they didn't come out completely unscathed.

Another movie myth is that you can pull a grenade pin out with your teeth

Hi! Nerd here! You would still see star war's "lasers" they are not actual lasers, they are particle beams. There is actual matter contained within the energy "capsule" which light would reflect off of and thus each bolt is visible. Additionally they travel slower then the speed of light so aside from having sound Star War battles are accurate to their on screen representations.

So you shouldn't have used star wars ships as your visual example. That's just bad science.

In Star Wars they use plasma bolts, not lasers :3

You forgot one thing.
About the fact that the main character can find whatever he or she needs in a tight situation. Like for example, when in a car chase, "Look! A conveniently placed thing that would kill the bad guy instantly!" or, "Hey look! A cool idea that seems to have a low chance of success but works anyway!"
