When my last playthrough started hitting its climax--a double-agent gunslinger/demolitionist working for House with plans to ultimately turn on the NCR--this music was so exhilarating. I did every NCR quest I could find in the Mojave, including whatever I could do without crossing Mr. House. I was a national war hero in their eyes. A true pioneer and problem solver with a spotless record. I even had the added benefit of killing every single legionary that I ran into along the way and getting to bend Caesar over his own command table and show him what his fancy power fist could do on max settings.

The NCR truly loved me.

But then one day, it was time to give the better visionary his due. So after delivering him the platinum chip as promised, I also gave him the Hoover Dam while emasculating the entire New California Republic in one huge twist.

Damn, what a good game.

The NCR aren’t the best faction but their 100% better then Cesars Legion..
