I really liked this part mainly because this was seeing a tiny nation's (the Boomer's) dreams come true.

Holy fucking balls. Can you imagine how terrified those Legion soldiers would've been, especially the recruits fresh into the war with the NCR thinking they'll be big shot super warriors in the Legion, when they looked up and saw absolute unavoidable excruciating death raining down onto them?

It's somewhat ironic, in a sense. The B-29 was the first plane in history to drop a nuclear bomb in an act of war. And here, 336 years later, after the nuclear apocalypse that it helped bring about, it flies again, once more dropping death from its bomb bays as it did three centuries ago. War, war never changes.

In one of my earlier playthroughs.
I became (Idolized) with the Boomers through their missions.
I thought they would send tribe warriors to assist in the Battle of Hoover Dam, But unlike everyone else.
THEY SEND A "BOEING B-29 SUPERFOFTRESS" WTF!!!. (I love FONV)

The exact same plane which dropped the first nuclear bomb onto civilian targets was also the last recorded propeller engine strategic bomber plane to take to the sky, ever.

I could NEVER even in my darkest moments of depravity even during a pure evil playthrough there are lines that I do not cross. I do not harm Doc Mitchel and I do not kill the boomers, for this reason alone is why I always help them.

This was so cool because it was the first time I can really think of us getting to see the vehicles in these games move beyond the robots and vertibirds. I was always disappointed that after 200 years we hadn’t figured out some form of locomotion with everything laying about. I hope we see the boomers either in future seasons of the show (even just their plane in the background) or in future games

I’m not trying to be too technical because I know there’s obvious reasons for the sake of the story, but would it have been more logical for the courier to tell the Boomers to target the Legates camp?
