The 2023 Audi Q3 45 TFSI Is An Appealing Miniaturized Luxury SUV

Показать описание
As the smallest #Audi SUV in the lineup, the 2023 #AudiQ3 has the important role of attractive younger buyers into the Audi showroom. The latest #Q3 has been around since 2019 and is currently built on the latest MQB platform, that also underpins the smaller A3 sedan. Just like its larger siblings, the baby Audi SUV packs a ton of features into a small package and although it may not be the most exciting model to drive, it is one of the most well-rounded options in the segment.

just spent a week with this vehicle as a rental while on vacation. my wife really fell in love with it. we liked the ride quality, handling, steering lightness, seat comfort, and good mpg. its was the prefect size to whip around busy charleston south carolina.

In 1990 I bought a new Mustang GT 5.0. It had about 225 HP and 0-60 in about 6.3 sec. Now we have family suvs with 4 cylinders getting close to those numbers. Crazy!

"Audi's tech is getting a bit dated"
Yeah, it still has buttons and switches- thank you Audi.

A while back I was looking for a 2020 Audi Q3 and I did notice I hadn't seen recent reviews from you on this specific model. I did go ahead and buy it, and within about 4 years will trade it in for a new model Q5 that I'll hold onto for much longer. But it's great to see you reviewing this model again!

I did buy one.
The Drive Modes include one called Individual.
Click on the box next to the word Individual and you get some extra options for the vehicle.
I always select the SPORT options there.
AND, you can shift the transmission to stay in a lower gear to keep the revs up. Move the shifter lever to the side and then up or down to select a gear.
For better performance

Great review. The reason Audi sells so many of these is the base model is such a good price point for getting into a vehicle with a Luxury name badge but if you start loading it up you are better going to an other brand.

What's interesting is the heated steering wheel comes standard in the Canadian Q3, but it gets dropped when you get the Technology Package (Or their option that gives the adaptive cruise control and driver assist features). So, even in Canada where the heated steering wheel comes standard, it gets dropped with any of the driver assist features added like in the US configurations.

Great review. Spotted your videos (watermarks and all) over on Car Junkies, with some AI narrating a bad voiceover over YOUR Q3 test drive footage. FYI.

Transverse engine with front-biased Quattro. But I like it. Good for my wife, thought the Q5 isn't much bigger and has more power. The EA888 is a very good engine, just wish that they would stop using plastic cooling system parts, etc.

Does this engine come with the special oil burning feature making oil changes a thing of the past?

If the RS Q3 with that 2.5L 5-cylinder that we know and love in the RS 3 was available in the US, that would be really cool, but only Europe gets that.

When Audi does a re-design of this Q3, I will consider it

It just seems like more of a Volkswagen with the cheaper finishes. It used to be more luxurious to me in earlier models. Thanks for the review.

I think it would have been better if they had the short gear shifter like they got in AQ5

But does Apple Car play work well with Android phones like Samsung ?

For an entry level luxury car, this Q3 is very impressive! Great price and value, AWD, and 87 octane fuel is amazing!

I can’t believe that a vehicle that is just under $50K doesn’t have remote start. Even cars today under $20K have remote start
