This is a Motormouth couple car review of the 2022 Audi Q3 subcompact luxury SUV. The Audi Q3 is a sporty yet affordable option in the luxury sub-compact class! Powered by a 2L turbocharged 4-cylinder with an 8-speed automatic transmission, the Q3 is available with two variants, a 184 horsepower and 221 lb-ft of torque or the more powerful 228 horsepower and 251 lb-ft of torque model. Both standard AWD and you can use regular fuel. The Audi Q3 offers so much value, our base Komfort trim test model has an 8.8” touchscreen, a 10.25” digital driver display, Apple Carplay and Android Auto, heated front seats, a power driver seat, manual passenger seat, leather seating surfaces, heated steering wheel, panoramic sunroof, power tailgate, LED headlights and taillights plus 18” wheels. There are packages you can add to trims, I recommend adding the Vorsprung Edition package for $2,200 CAD to the base model which ups the sportiness with a high-gloss black grille, black window trim and 19” matte titanium wheels. It also comes with front and rear parking sensors, lane departure warning, rear-cross traffic alert and Audi side assist. In the US, there are only two trims, the base model Premium trim comes standard with Audi side assist and rear-cross traffic alert. Add the Convenience Package for $1,450 USD to get features like power front seats and driver seat memory. In Canada, the top Technik trim has the 12.3” digital driver display, a 10.1” touchscreen and wireless Apple Carplay. Add a package to the middle Progressiv trim to get these features. Driver seat memory and the Sonos premium audio system are only available on the top trim. In the US, adding the Technology Package for $2,700 USD to the top Premium Plus trim will get you similar features the Canadian top trim has. There are features unavailable on the Q3 including, a head-up display, wireless Android Auto, ventilated front seats and heated rear seats. The Audi Q3 40 TFSI starts at $38,650 CAD/$36,400, Progressiv $40,950 CAD/$39,700 USD Premium Plus. The 45 $41,150 CAD/$38,700 USD Premium, Progressiv $44,050 CAD/$42,000 USD Premium Plus and Technic $47,650 CAD.

At Canada Drives you can buy your car 100% online and have it delivered straight to your doorstep. Once delivered, you have a full 7 days to love it or return it.

yes! Love they gave you the version that is the main seller as opposed to sending you the most optioned version on the highest trim that no one purchases. Great job. Also, completely on the same page of not being a fan of the larger sunroof.

Running on regular gas = game-changer. It's .70 more a gallon in my area right now for Premium vs Regular. Huge props to Audi for changing the Q3 from Premium to Regular!!!!

Great review! As an former owner of the pre-refreshed Q7 (2017), I can tell you the engine, however. is not that old (at least for the Q7). The prior to 2020, the Q7 was powered by a V6 engine that was Supercharged, not Turbocharged and was a older, yet very reliable design used on the cars like the S4. They changed to the Turbo engine because it better fit with its 48volt mild hybrid and also put it in line with the Q8 which has the same engine. Curiously, however, it gets worse gas mileage than the old engine, which gave 19 City and 25 highway, yet still offers the same 0-60 at 5.7 seconds. I still prefer the modernized interior of the refresh, however. I think that I'm saving for Porsche Macan next, now that I'm an empty nester. Love your reviews on the Porsches!

Just purchased a used 2021 Audi Q3 and truly LOVE my car. Wireless Android Auto would be perfect but the plug and play works well.

There is a high performance Q3 called the RSQ3 with 394hp and 354lbft of torque, mated to a 7DCT. It’s not sold in North America, but the Sportback version is sold in Mexico.

Fellow Vancouverite here! Love your channel by the way! Your video on the 2021 Q3 is what sold me to get one.

I’m an owner of a 2022 Audi Q3 45 S-Line Technik in Daytona Gray colour with black optics & I just recently got it last May. Thankfully, I was able to get the side assist before Audi announced that it won’t be available due to chip shortages.

Now, my previous car was a 2018 Audi S5 Coupe Technik and I loved that car but since the lease ended I gave that up for the Q3. I did consider a Q5 but the interior feels old compared to the Q3 interior.

My early impressions so far is the Q3 is a fun car to drive. Good for city driving & very spacious for me and the value you get for the price is very good. I would recommend getting a 19 inch wheels instead of an optional 20 cause it feels more comfortable on the bumps.

My cons so far is that even though it uses regular gas it’s still not good on the fuel economy unlike the other competitors. I do miss having a HUD like my previous car does cause it really helps me when driving. I would like to have ventilated seats also.

All in all, I would recommend this car to people who are looking to get in a luxury brand for the first time.

The top feature my mom was looking for is ventilated front seats. She has hot flashes and we live in Texas. Unfortunately it was nearly impossible to find a car at all. We looked at the Lexus RX and NX and the GLC and a Land Rover. She didn’t even want to look at Audi bc she already had the Q3 and wanted something else. I finally convinced her to stop by Audi and she fell in love with the new Q3 with so many features. She is overall very satisfied.

I love my ventilated seats in Mazda-CX-5 with heads up display here in southern Ohio where we have a hot humid summer.

Love your content! You’re both enjoyable to watch and listen to as well 😊

I recently purchased the 2022 Audi Q3 45 S-line in southern California and it came with powered passenger seat, wireless apple car play, but no push to start. Also while messing around with the center console, I found that you can lift the top and lock it in to use as an arm rest. In case that makes a difference to anyone 😅

Absolutely in love with the Audi Q3 and you’re precious review gave me the push to go buy it. Thanks again for great content😊
