I remember watching this episode. This clip is misleading. Not only did the mother/daughter not want lace & asked for material only BUT they tried on the dress for alterations to make sure it was a good fit. In the end when the daughter received the finished dress, she liked it. It was the mother who ultimately did not like it. The dress maker won.

She sided with the dress maker in the end but only because the dress was tried on accepted. The mother wasn't present, if she was she wouldn't have accepted the dress and I believe the outcome would have been different 😐

But the ending is where it all went wrong! The daughter RUINED her and her mom's chances of winning when she told the seamstress the dress was fine! That's when Judge Judy dismissed the case! The mother was SO MAD!

This clip is not telling enough. This episode was a mother trying to live through her daughter. The daughter actually liked the dress the mother was unhappy. The mother was upset with her daughter for saying to JJ that she liked the dress.
