My birthdate is literally set 1998, and has always been, and I still get age restricted and need to verify by giving youtube sensitive information. I only get 3 choices, show them my ID, show them a selfie of myself or show them my credit card, all of which I absolutely refuse to do. They have no right to have any of those.

I am 19, almost 20 and after doing this youtube still wants me to verify my age. How is the method in the video supposed to help exactly because nothing has changed. Yt wants me to send them a picture of my id. Did i do something wrong or does the method in the vid just not work?

Why must I risk my security so people don't have to parent their kids, in my country you either need to share a credit card or take a photo of your driver's licence so basically to watch youtube I need to give what someone needs to steal my identity and put me in a massive amount of debt.
