My brother met Ringo once. He said that Ringo was nice, friendly, down to earth, just a really great guy.

If it had not been for John. No one would have a clue who Yoko Ohno was

The story behind "Hey Jude" is that Paul wrote this song to comfort Julian "Jude" Lennon when Yoko entered his dad's life.

For ME, the nail in the Y.O. coffin when I saw the Peter Jackson clip of Yoko sitting in at a Beatles session and she was knitting. OMG !

It was John’s idea to bring Yoko into the studio to destroy the band. I can’t believe they let her stay in the studio. 😅

My favorite Ringo Starr moment was when he sent me his autographed picture to me, before his autograph ban in 2008 🙂.

We saw this as it occured. It was no mystery, it was obvious. She made no attempt whatsoever to help soften what was occuring that didn't have much to do with her, but instead like every oppurtunist, she capitalized on it, amplified it, and encouraged John to move further away from the group. She wanted her lime light in the music world, and her screaching and howling, and ridiculousness on he early solo releases demonstrated that. But John was deeply in love with her and anyone who has ever been that deeply in love with someone (and that someone being the wrong person) you know just how much you will do for them. Some even reduce themselves to a pale shadow of who they once were. And this woman... she even drove that wedge between John and his first child, of which Paul alluded to in Hey Jude. Why so many younger people from today seem to not just give her a pass, but seem to consider her something at all just because she is Yoko Ono is crazy. But it just shows you how generations after a situation, things become normalized and accepted via the media, time, and distance. I guess you had to be there... you have to be very old like myself, and speak up about it. She was not a nice person for John, Julian, or even the Beatles.

The rift was already there, she just exacerbated it.
The two main writers, Paul and John had different visions. Paul wanted to do romance, John wanted to do political.

I'm waiting for the clip of Ringo saying these things. I've given up before the end. Did I miss anything?

Even as a kid hearing Yoko sounding like a dying cat, I knew John erred greatly, by promoting her would be the death of the Beatles

Yoko Ono had no talent. She was a disruptive source, who never should have been allowed in the studio. That was John's fault and the other Beatles all paid the price for his selfishness.

I haven’t seen or heard Ringo say anything in this video. Had John not wanted this to happen, he would have stopped it. Everything comes to an end, eventually. One way or another. Point your finger, where you will, but without prejudice. Yoko only went, where John took her.

It was always John's doing, not Yoko. John couldve dismissed her, left her at home, had a "normal" relationship, or a myriad of other actions. John alone destroyed the Beatles.

Where is his "recent confession"?

Weak weak John. Yoko, was his lost mother. Apparently he was not smart enough to realize that and see her real intentions; to get him away from the Beatles and take complete control of his life and A conniving witch from the get go.

I've always believed she was the catalyst that poisoned John's mind. I blame John simply because he allowed Yoko to dominate him.

Gotta love that simple, honest & true man, underrated drummer who had this huge talent of not screwing the outstanding music his fellows brought to the world. Have a long happy life, Ringo !
