My kid accidentally reduced the playback speed to 0.75 without me noticing so I thought you were high until the intro played and it became obvious LOL . I was also playing with 1.5 and 2.0 playback speeds... that was fun. I highly recommend 1.5. Seems like Tech is more excited than usual hahaha

The ryzen is overall cheaper because cooling costs less, the motherboards costs less, and your power pill will be less expensive (slightly), assuming you can find one in stock.

Why is tech so concerned about multi-tasking impact while gaming? Most of the time my old 4790 runs at less than 5% CPU usage at best while browsing, maybe jumping to at most 30/40% for a few seconds when running a youtube video. Maybe in some game, I'd turn on some music app in the background which has negligible impact on CPU, but at no point, I'd run youtube and game simultaneously.

I would go i9 but the cooler cost just makes it worse, so really the i9 is about 350-380

Then consider the motherboard

Edit: I am not talking about the 5600x, I am more talking about the 3700x vs 9900k and now that I think about it, the extra 80-100 does mean more performance so if you have the extra money I guess 9900k makes sense
