I saw a ball of fur in my driveway up against the house. I thought it was a dead mouse. (in florida). I gently nudged it, and it was a downed bat. (he spread his wings). My thought was to save him. I Google for advice, they sain to pick hip up with paper towels, place him in a container, place in shady are, give him small amount of water, and feed a bit of pate cat food. He ate and drank. They said to wait tilldusk to release him. He made it!! Was a satisfying rescue. I save any critter in need of help, including snakes. All life is precious.
