I think Horns argument here properly summarizes current Christian apologetics. Working from the presupposition that God exist and that Jesus was Gods son, and that the text is Gods Word, it follows that everything else can be made to make sense. No matter how irrational, or how illogical it may be…..with God all things are possible in their eyes.

Just because a story was written, that doesn't prove the events of the story happened. I don't believe the story being told really happened. I have no obligation to convince believers of my beliefs. But their arguments and assertions aren't convincing to me.

Actually...Jesus says "All authority in heaven and on earth HAS been given to me go therefore and make disciples of all the nations." If the OG disciples did not follow that command then why does Canada, Russia, US, South América etc. Know who Jesus is and what the gospel is? I say thats enough evidence right there that they followed Jesus' command

Are you kidding me, Paul? Acts records the preaching of the resurrection. Also, the creeds are evidence that the gospel was being preached soon after the resurrection. You are grasping at straws by claiming that ALL of the disciples had to be actually recorded preaching the gospel. Heck, the fact that they were with Peter while he was preaching confirms they at least agreed with the message. Acts 6 talks about the need to appoint deacons so the apostles could preach. Try again.
