Damage Comparison: Which Monster is the Strongest?

preview_player
Показать описание
When it comes to damage to the hunter the title of the strongest would be shared among Fatalis, Safi, and Behemoth, as they all have guarranteed one shot moves which Capcom assigned to them on top of the "actual" damage their attacks deal. Fatalis is the only one having multiple one shot ticks though, making him also the strongest when factoring in one shots. Obviously in this video we focused on the actual damage these moves deal. Furthermore High Rank exclusive monsters have been upscaled proportionally to Master Rank to be compaired fairly to other Master Rank monsters. Additionally we sometimes used the second strongest attack or the "signature move" if the related subspecies or variant already used the strongest move, as we didn't want to showcase the same attack twice.

Why Alatreon's Escaton Judgement wasn't included:

Big thanks to Crimson for creating the wood particles.
Big thanks to Fexty for making everything else to make this video possible.
And of course TDS_Michi who spent several weeks to record all of these clips!

You gotta appreciate how Fatalis takes the top spot by pure and heartfelt dedication to being the absolute most fire-breathing monster ever to fire breathe fire breaths.

I really love how Fatalis and Safi have a moment where the sound just sorta cuts out before devastating everything

Wasn't expecting such an extreme ramp up from Behemoth to Shara Ishvalda and then Fatalis.

Kinda new to the MH genre and yesterday, after numerous solo attempts on Anjanath, I finally able to finish it. But now, after seeing this tier list as well as the monster's skills - I'm kinda nervous and excited at the same time!

The moment safi unleashes his attack and the sound goes out is just a cool touch and it’s adds soo much to the fight experience and feel

I like how the Uragaan just rolled passed, he was in a hurry and couldn't stick around.

Number 4 finally passed the ball to Banbaro and, OH, My, Gawd. BANBARO GOING IN WITH THE DISRESPECT AND MAKES THE FULL COURT SHOT. SOMEBODY DRAFT THIS MAN!

Fatalis’s fire breath being in sync with Rage Beneath the Mountains was badass

The Tzitzi-Ya-Ku at the very end had me in complete tears! Especially with the Palu falling in the background. Great video!

I like how one weak swing from Gajalaka King has more damage than a Silver Rathalos' fire breath, truly the full power of the Gajalaka King is a force to be reckoned with

I imagined the gajalaka king to do some kind of amazing attack after that build up but it just walked up and slapped haha

The amount of work that goes into these videos is Insane.
Great job as always I very much enjoyed this video idea.

Love how Fatalis comes in at the end just to completely stomp everyone else and remind them who the real king is.

The fact that the elder leshen, with a normal attack, does slightly less domage than the behemot's "ultimate" is freaking scary

This was a really fun one! I love how you came up with things like Banbaro flinging the snowball from a different spot of the map and Rajang jumping to another rock height

This actually helps explain a lot of the times people get one shot by attacks.

Shara ishvalda, Namielle, and Safi'jiiva have my favorite attacks in the game. Such fantastic visual and sound design.

Diving into the Guiding Lands' numbers was a pain. Apparently, they can get altered base stats (quest multiplier) and then have extra multipliers based on the Area Level of the area they're "native" to.

The gist of this is that Tempered Ruiner is absurd and Forest 7 Tobi can obliterate you with the tail slam. These monsters are holding back...

The more I see from MHW, the more I get remembered what a great game it is. And that I can be happy, that it was my first MH Game. The quality, the details, the sound design.. its just such a great mh game imo. I really hope and wish that MH6 will be like World again, in terms of high graphic-quality, high sound-quality, high amount of details and high amount of love put into the game. (Just alone the rooms you can have in World/Iceborne and how much you can customize it with music, furniture and on top of that.. the "animals" you can catch and place into it.. and even on top of that again the fact, some animals are rare to find or only spawn at certain time on the map etc.. I love it.)

That all + the amount and variety of good monsters and event quests (even if I really enjoyed the seasonal events in world! they really were great) from older games, and it would be the best mh game of all time, to me at least. I know there are fans and veteran players, that like the older games more.

Wow, Teostra’s explosion always felt like a wipe move, I’m surprised it was so middle-of-the-road here. But I suppose its real danger is that it hits the entire area you’re in.
