Thanks for an excellent production!

I had a problem with getting Win 10 updated. The usual upgrade assistance tools and troubleshooting steps didn't work. I ended up using the media creation tool to write an ISO which I mounted to a virtual DVD, and performed an upgrade install which completed successfully.

Wait so what is the fix? I have ssd C drive, an ssd i called F drive and an hdd i called H drive. What do i do to fix this? Im trying to upgrade from windows 7 to 10 and keep getting the error?

This will be hard for beginners I guess who doesn't know hardwars. Easy fix is before you proceed to install windows, turn off the auto update on the option - it says something like don't update now (including for drivers).

Hey i have a problem that i just can't get rid of no matter what i do, i've been stuck on windows 10 version 1909 since 22h2 came out and i couldn't update to the newest version, tried everything but now i get this exact error but when trying to update windows 10 to 22h2

This fix also works for Windows 10 -> Windows 11 upgrade on fairly recent Dell workstations.
